Privacy policy.

  1. Who we are

Lab of Lived Experience (Lab OLE) is a community innovation platform operating under CSI Ecosystem, a UK registered company which holds appropriate business insurance. We can be contacted at: cat@csi-ecosystem.com.

  2. What this policy covers

This policy covers how we handle information on laboflivedexperience.com, including the Bioreality Tool, the community gallery, and any contact or sign-up forms on this site.

  3. The 'bioreality’ tool

The Bioreality Tool allows you to create a visual map of your health journey across biosystems over time. We have designed the tool to be privacy-first by default.

What happens when you use the tool:

    • No account or login is required.

    • No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected during your use of the tool.

    • Your inputs are processed locally in your browser and used only to generate your graph.

    • We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other identifying information through the tool itself.

If you choose to submit your graph to the campaign:

    • You are given the option to share your anonymised journey data to contribute to collective evidence submitted to the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Environment.

    • If you choose to share, only the anonymised pattern data from your graph is transmitted. No name, email, device identifier, or location data is included.

    • Because no identifying data is stored, we are unable to locate or delete individual submissions after they are made. This is by design.

    • Anonymised data is stored on a secure server and may be accessed by the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to a Healthy Environment and related UN agencies for the purposes of health policy analysis.

  4. Analytics

This site uses Squarespace's built-in analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate (e.g. page views, traffic sources). This data is anonymised and does not identify individual visitors.

In accordance with UK and EU GDPR requirements, a cookie consent banner is displayed on your first visit. Analytics cookies are only placed if you accept. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or adjusting your browser settings.

We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party advertising tracking on this site.

  5. Contact + sign-up forms

If you submit a contact form or sign up for updates on this site, we collect your name and email address. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry or send the updates you requested, is stored securely and not shared with third parties for marketing purposes, and is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was provided.

You may request deletion of your contact data at any time by emailing cat@csi-ecosystem.com

  6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (where we hold identifiable information); object to processing or request restriction of processing; and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, contact: cat@csi-ecosystem.com

  7. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any personal data we hold. Anonymised tool submissions are stored on a secure server with access restricted to authorised parties only.

  8. The use of AI tools

CSI Ecosystem Ltd uses AI-assisted tools in the development of certain technical elements of this project. Claude (developed by Anthropic) has been used to support front-end development of the Bioreality Tool and related site components.

All strategic frameworks, methodologies, and original intellectual work — including the Personal Planetary Boundaries methodology, the biosystems health framework, and all community innovation strategy — were originated and developed by CSI Ecosystem Ltd. AI tools have been used in an assistive capacity only.

We do not use AI to generate or fabricate health data, research findings, or community testimony. All lived experience data submitted through the Bioreality Tool is provided directly by real individuals.

  9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
